Our Story
SHI is a youth-led, non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to providing and ensuring access to basic maternal and child health care services in underserved communities and ensuring every pregnancy undergoes a safe delivery devoid of common complications through education and empowerment of frontline rural healthcare providers and other involved stakeholders.
Our Objectives
To Ensure the reduction of maternal and child deaths and complications in every pregnancy.
To provide information that would aid in the community prevention of HIV/AIDS majorly the prevention of mother to child transmission (PMTCT) of HIV/AIDS.
To convey health information that would aid in prevention of traditional harmful practices majorly Female genital mutilation.
To provide information on family planning for women and girls.
To provide adequate access and information on sexual and reproductive health.
