What we do

SAFER HANDS is an initiative which started up in August 2017 – after a time lined assessment and review of our maternal and child health system in Nigeria – aimed at reducing the high level of maternal and child deaths associated with child-birth in sub-sahara Africa, in which Nigeria is one of the major contributors.
The social enterprise was created out of the dire need to ensure positive changes and achieve sustainable impacts that would potentiate into attaining a healthy sustainable future, particularly in areas with current deficits in providing and achieving basic Universal health coverage in Nigeria.

In accordance with article 19 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child , Safer Hands Health Initiative believes that all children wherever they may live , have the right to be protected , nurtured and to be free from all forms of violence , abuse , neglect, maltreatment and exploitation . As part of Safer Hands Health Initiative`s commitment to the protection of children from all forms of harm and abuse. Safer Hands Health Initiative have a responsibility to ensure that our organization have a child protection measures in place.
